About Allstate
The allstate Insurance Company of Canada is headquartered in Ontario. It is a member and has emerged as the largest publicly held personal lines insurer in the United States. The Allstate Canada has been providing property and casualty insurance products to Canadians since 1953. It was mainly started to provide the auto insurance to the citizens of canada.
They not only provide customers a peace of mind by delivering a full line of auto, home, individual life and financial products but also has a network of around 450 agents in over 250 communities and on a rough figure 1,000 employees. Allstate Insurance offer the choice of selecting the right insurance package through their agents, Internet and other Allstate Customer Contact Centre.
They offer auto, home, travel, life and health insurance, as well as home security and mortgage related products.
Automobile insurance:
The Automobile insurance is legally required in every province and territory. The Provincial legislation controls the insurance and how much and what you must buy as a legal minimum. Allstate insurance provides the protection against losses incurred as a result of traffic accidents to the insuree vehicles. An insurance company may declare a vehicle totally destroyed if it appears replacement would be cheaper than repair.
Home insurance:
Allstate provides the home insurance policy that combines various personal insurance protections which can include losses occurring to one's home, its contents, loss of its use (additional living expenses), loss of other personal possessions of the homeowner, as well as liability insurance for accidents that may happen at the home.
Boat insurance:
Allstate insurance covers the loss or damage of ships, goods or property at sea. It typically compensates the owner of merchandise for losses sustained from fire, shipwreck, etc., but excludes losses that can be recovered from the carrier. The term abandonment is used to describe the surrender of the ship or goods insured to the insurers, in the case of a constructive total loss of the thing insured. Thus apart from these it also provides the Life and health insurance, Disability insurance, Travel insurance, Savings and retirement and Home security. If you are looking for an insurance plan to cover your home, I will love to suggest the name of Allstate and you can believe me, this is my personal experience. If you value your home and everything in your home, I think you won’t need a second thought and can opt for the Allstate Insurance plan. I have been associated with them for more than three years and was surprised to receive their support through phone. I have been the customer of Allstate Insurance company for more than a year. When it comes to insurance coverage and retirement plans, Allstate Insurance company makes it quite affordable. Besides, it has got other insurances like automobile insurance, home insurance, boat insurance…etc.
If you are looking for a home security and mortgage related products, then it is all there. For some this insurance might be expensive for some but the results you get is really outstanding. I've been with Allstate for 18 years. Over the past year my Auto insurance increased 32% (no impact due to tickets or accidents). Agent said due to Texas being unregulated, rates have just been going up from all companies (note to state congressmen). I shopped rates to see what rates were out there for auto AND home. I'm going to save nearly $1,000/year between both coverages going with an A rated company. Morale of the story, shop rates if your company, whoever it is, tries to screw you with rediculous rate increases. If we're not going to be regulated it's up to the consumer to keep 'em honest.. |

My agent is always available for reviews - I have been with the company for 20 years. Twice they have stepped in when I have been hit and totally taken care of me, even when the other agencies have tried to slither out of their customers at fault claim.
Remember, they may seem expensive, but you get what you pay for.. |

I had an incident happened recently- my car had an accident in the parking lot. I have a full coverage with platinum plus policy with All State Insurance company. Allstate claim estimator came and he took the estimate with all recycled and aftermarket parts. My car is below 19,000 miles. When I asked regarding this recycled part, he explained this is the Allstate policy, i.e. above 12,000 Miles they will not use any original OEM parts. My plan is the Platinum Plus which is one of the best according to them. Unfortunately the estimator’s Manager he denied the Original OEM parts and he told me that you can change with OEM parts and pay the difference. Other thing is his way of talking is very bad. After this mess, I am forced to change my Auto, Home insurance from Allstate...I don't want this headache. |

One of Allstate's clients hit my car in the rear while standing still at an allway stop sign 2 months ago. Their aduster and the body shop agreed upon the repair parts and the cost of which Allstate claimed liability. My car was repaired 6 weeks ago and to date I have not received a check for the repair nor the rental. I have called repeatedly for the status of the check. No one at that office including a supervisor returns my calls.
The business practices, work ethics and customer service is a zero. I would not recomment this company to anyone. They are literally negligent!. |

their motto, "you're in good hands with Allstate" is an absolute crock. After seven years of being a loyal customer with NO claims, they notified us that they will not renew our policy because of the 2004 - 2005 hurricane season. they were afraid that if a hurricane hit our area, they could not pay out to all their customers with losses. i now have spend many hours searching for other insurance which is now double the price. Not in good hands at all, Allstate.. |
